My name is Mertcan,studied Library and Information Science.I did my Erasmus 2016 Vilnius University,Lithuania.I'm hitchhiker,backpacker and I believe freedom is being on the road.I travelled all of Turkey,Georgia,Iran,Azerbaijan with hitchhiking.I can describe myself world citizen.I know little things (some of many things) about every country.I dont have any nationality.My main goal is travelling all of the countries.But, especially I wanna see so much Lofoten Islands,Machu Picchu,Iceland,Patagonia.My prefers generally spesific areas.My idol is Gunnar Garfors who is travelled all of the countries twice before 40 years old.

As Couchsurfing is rapidly changing from a website for intercultural exchange - to a "lonesome creeps meet freeloading girls" Tinder/Instagram like App I have to state this: I'm not a lonely heart looking for someone spending time with me as I'm too autistic to meet and interact with real people... if you surf with me you will probably meet some of my friends, flatmates, colleagues, other surfers etc. I have a quite lively social circle, that's also why CS integrates so well in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

All of the great stories start with two ways;one people goes travel another city or one foreigner came for travel their city.
If you do investment for travel you also invested yourself.
Life is either a brave adventure or nothing!
Don't take life too serious, you can't finish it alive anyway.
Travel is an evolving.
Life is a book,who doesnt travel they will read same page.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people all over the world. I know it's expensive to travel while staying in hotels or hostels all the time. I've had some great experiences meeting people through Couchsurfing and it gives me an insight into the daily life of the people living in the city where I'm traveling to thus helping me understand the place better, on the other hand, I have always been looking for some fun and memorable events, new friends, new ideas, new emotions, and new cultures. Couchsurfing offers all of them.I fall in love travel a lot and like people who travel a lot. To travel is to live! it is more than a bed. It is about sharing(what I like most) and collecting(friends, experiences, moments). So, it is amazingly cool! Let's get rid of the boredom and meet up!
