About Me

I grew up between France and Germany which is probably the reason why I like travelling and discover new countries and people. I would say that my main passion in life is drawing. I studied art for six years before I decided to hit the road instead of growing up and settle down. At the moment I'm the northern Alps of France keeping the spirit and enjoying life. I'm a really social, open, kind and funny person that loves going out and get drunk as much as drinking tea in front of the TV or going for long walks in the nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travelled a lot, either on my own or with friends and what hit me the most was the incredible kindness of the people I met. People gave me so much and helped me out when I was in need so it seems only natural to give it back. Right now I'm living in a flat in La Féclaz but I won't be able to host people anymore as soon as the season will end.... Untill summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a really hard question... I like a lot of different kind of sounds. As my favourites I would quote Mumford and Sons, Avicii, Lana del Rey, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Pantera, Alice Cooper... But in general I listen to hardrock, deathmetal, rockabilly, blues, some electro... but I also love to sing out loud on pop charts and french classics.

Kind of the same for movies. I do appreciate a lot of Disney movies, old B/W movies, popular Saga (Star Wars, LotR...), biographic films and especially everything that either makes me laugh or cry.

I've been blown away by Cheryl Strayed's "Wild", I'm reading it twice a year I guess... Recently I started to read some comic books as well because I'm working on one with my best friend. My all time favorite writer is a french drama author called Jean-Luc Lagarce. I'm not reading as much as I would like to because I'm a very, very slow reader but I like books that teach you about life, yourself or others (even if they're romans), with an end I wasn't expecting and that makes me wanna read them all over again even though I just finished.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked all the way back from Slovenia to France by myself with just a tent, some biscuits and maybe 5€.
