About Me

Hi! My name is Maria and I am a citizen of the world. I love traveling, meeting people from all backgrounds and trying all the new experiences the life offers.

I love waking up early and going late to bed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My roommate and I decided to go Couchsurfing because, as students, we know how hard it can be to travel with a tight budget.

We want to benefit both from getting to meet people home and going abroad to find foreign couches!

Interests

I love reading and photography too. If you come home, be ready to have a couple of pictures taken!

I also workout every week and I enjoy stretching afterwards with some Yoga.

I bought an Ukulele and I am struggling with it ever since. If anyone could give me a couple lessons it would be much appreciated!

We Spanish people also love to party and enjoy a lovely late dinner with friends and wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost any kind of music. I mostly enjoy electro, chill out rap and reggae music.

My favourite movies Pulp Fiction, Gladiator, Crank and Into the Wild.
I also really like weird movies that can blow your mind.

I read biographies and some fiction books. The Silence of the Lambs, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Snowball and Pearl of China are some.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I had the most amazing experience volunteering with Melon Mission in Nakuru, Kenya. I got to work with 450 lovely children who taught me a lot about love and happiness.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a student with two part-time jobs, so I don't really have a lot of time but I would love to spend some getting to know everyone who is willing to come.

Austria, Croatia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Kenya, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States
