My name is María Teresa Elena Martínez Francos (yes, quite long, that's because of my latin blood lol). I was born in Zurich (Switzerland), my father a Mexican commercial trader and my mother a Swiss-Spanish business-woman. Maybe it's because of this mixture that nowadays the only thing that I can think about is traveling, visiting new places, meeting new people and learning all that I might be able to, of cultures and languages.

Travel is my favorite hobby. Then learning languages, and finally meeting people: which actually can be all joint everything in just one thing: traveling. Since I became 18, my appetite of traveling is increasing and I just feel that now is the moment to live experiences, without giving to much importance to money or conditions: just living the adventure!

Music: the 80's conquered my heart from the very first time. But in short word all kind of music, from national "rancheras" singed by Mariachis till the Guns and Roses and his amazing theme "Paradise City".
Movies: "Life is Beautiful", was the very first film that showed me that cinema is not just a way of entertainment but also an incredible mean to touch people and to reflect about different aspects of life that concerns all of us.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have taken part in two young film festivals (Italy and Qatar) and definitely were the greatest experiences of my life. Being a juror and having the possibility to meet people of different parts of the world and discuss of something so universal as are movies.

I learn German, French and Arabic. Tried once with Chinese but I guess it's not my thing haha

I have really good skills of Spanish, Catalan and English.
