Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Damn, I'm already 44 (didn't see time pass by ;-)), but I still have the state of mind of young people !
I visited about 50 countries and friends told me about couchsurfing and meeting very nice people this way, so I want to try by myself ;-)

As a host, I think it's better to share at least one thing in common with guests, so I would preferably host :
- activist journalists (in real or in state of mind, I mean people thinking that there is something to do to reveal the errements of societies and think about alternative solutions)
- photographers
- teachers
- musicians
- artists of all kind
- backpackers of all kind
- people practicing martial arts (tai chi or aïkido, you're welcome to my aïkido club on mondays, wednesdays and saturdays)
- tangueros y tangueras, there are at least 5 milongas a day in Paris, I would be glad to go with you
- people practicing yoga and meditation (there is a very inspiring place 5 minutes walk from my home)
- people interested in chamanic experiences
- people who live (lived) a most wonderful love story (uplifting, passionate, overwhelming, magic, tragic, whatever...) and like to talk about it.

Well, if you're not that kind of people, just let me know what makes you feel you're alive, I also like to learn what I don't know ;-))

Interests

When I travel : adventure, being astonished by new landscapes and cultural sites, meeting people and discovering their ways of life and philosophy (and take photographs to keep all that in mind and to share it back in Paris).

Music, Movies, and Books

It would be too long to do a list, but what I particularly like about music is when I can improvise singing and dancing with musicians, whatever the style.
As for books, I now love to read about personal and spiritual development, and how to enjoy the present moment.
