I'm Brazilian from São Paulo. Since I was a kid I always have this desire to travel through the world. Last year came a opportunity to live and work in Scotland for one year as volunteer, so me and my girlfriend we thought that could be a good chance to do something different and new before we settle down in one place.

So living this here the community's policy don't allow have any host besides volunteer's related once in wide. So that's why I can't host anyone here, but when I came back to Brazil I want to host couch surfers.

Since we are here in Europe we have visited Germany🇩🇪, Scotland🇬🇧, England🇬🇧, Ireland🇮🇪, France🇫🇷, Netherlands🇳🇱, Belgium🇧🇪, Italy🇮🇹 and Spain🇪🇸.

Every time we plan our trip we always try to find a host before we look for hostels for two mainly reasons: 1️⃣ when we travel our idea is learn about the place and the people and couch surfing for sure is the best way to do that. 2️⃣ as I mentioned before we're volunteer so we have very limited money allowance, so when we find a host we can enjoy more the city.

I'm on Couchsurfing Community because I definitely believe this is the best way to understand how is to live where I'm visiting. I don't like the idea of traditional tourism.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the end of 2009 I made a road trip with two friends departure from São Paulo🇧🇷 driving through Brazilian coast stopping for Christmas in Florianopolis🇧🇷, Praia do Rosa🇧🇷, then we spend the New Year in Punta del Este🇺🇾 and then we went to Buenos Aires🇦🇷 for one week. The whole trip was 7.200 km total!
