Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Kim. I live in my adopted home of Dresden in a shared apartment with two great roommates. I work and study in the field of renewable energies, have a few plants, and volunteer to rescue food. I love planning events and trips, enjoy trying new things (such as sports, cooking, and baking), and am usually quite talkative.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling is the greatest luxury in my life, and my best memories are usually those made with local people. I would like to do this more often, and I am eager to meet new people and learn about their realities.
Interests
For me, a perfect day is spending the whole day hiking or cycling, then enjoying a delicious meal in the evening and watching a good movie or documentary.
I really enjoy sports, especially cycling, hiking, inline skating, bouldering, and swimming. I have a gravel bike and regularly go on cycling trips. I would also like to go on multi-day hikes. that, I enjoy going to classical concerts, the ballet, the opera, and readings or lectures.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is very mixed. I like pop, indie, but also classical music (especially film music) and classics from the 80s/90s such as ABBA or Tina Turner.
My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings and Pride and Prejudice and I like to read books on social criticism or history, for example „Invisible Women“ or „Yes to life in spite of evreything“.
