I am a highschool student looking for new adventures every day. I love sport, nature, hiking and traveling (my dream is to travel around the whole world and see untypical and spectacular places :) ). I live in a small Liptov village surrounded by beautiful nature. My father has always supported me in sport and I slowly developed a passion for it. Now I can not imagine one day without doing any activity. The mountains around my hometown built up a passion for skiing in me, thanks to which I started doing it profesionally. I traveled many countries and got to know plenty of people. Nowadays I am a ski instructor and it helps me to earn some money while studying. I am a third year student at an english gymnasium and after I finish this school I would like to study dentistry or pharmacy. As I mentioned before I would like to travel as much as possible in the future. I like a form of traveling which does not require a high budget. I am talkative and I like meeting new people. I am interested in their culture, customs and I am always grateful for new contacts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I am on couchsurfing is because I like to help others when needed. I would like to meet new people, share my experiences with them and explore their country in a rather unconventional way. I also would like to show them the beauty of my country. Moreover, it is always great to have many friends around the world because you never know when you will need help.

Skiing, climbing .... more climbing, cycling, hiking..... Everything that has to do something with sport, traveling and meeting new people. I have affection for learning new languages and chemistry and I love nature and long walks alone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have always preferred rock music and reggae. My top bands are Red hot chilly peppers, Blur, Gorillaz, Oasis, U2 and Pink Floyd. However, I do not mind other kinds of music like drum and bass and electronic music.

From literature I often read classical novels and fantasy books. I enjoyed reading stories written by J. R. R. Tolkien, Jules Verne and Charles Dickens. Now I read Game of Thrones and some old classics such as Ernest Hemingway and Kafka.

I like watching action movies and TV series such as Better call Saul, Breaking bad or Game of thrones. My top movie is probably The Shawshank redemption because of a good plot and actors.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of activities which I do and love with others. I can show them the beauty of hiking, climbing or even skiing ( in winter ). In return I would like to learn something new from them as well, whether it is activity or just some useful stuff.
