About Me

Born and raised in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada, from the small town of Ashcroft and the city of Kamloops in the interior of my province where the river cuts through the mountains creating the valley where I live.

I'm just your average 22 year old student that's hoping to see the entire world, 12 countries down so far, The United Kingdom, South Africa, Lesotho (technically- there is a story there) U.S.A, Qatar, France, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands Italy, Belgium and of course Canada. So many still to go but getting there!

I've always loved the outdoors and meeting people, love icefishing, snow shoeing, hiking and canoeing. I currently can't put up travellers due to my current living situation but I would be more then happy to show anybody travelling to Kamloops around the city and all the attractions like the winery's, wildlife park or one of our many hiking trails if Im in town.

I am currently studying Journalism. I'm hoping to tell the stories of those that don't have a voice and (hopefully) put people's trust back into the media.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still relatively new to couch surfing and I want too meet people across the world and learn their stories.

My first experience with couch surfing came after I just finished a big trip to South Africa, from Capetown to Durban and everything in between including hiking into Lesotho while in the Drakensburg mountains as well as Doha in Qatar.

After I finished that trip I headed across Canada from Montreal all the way to Vancouver, a trip that made me realize how massive Canada really is. During these adventures I used couch surfing for the first time and the experience was amazing I got to meet so many amazing people!

There is a culture to couch surfing and I love it, it's more then just a way to save money, it's a network of the best of the world coming together to tell a story. To share in the culture and food, if the world was nothing but couch surfers from my experience we would be a better world.

I'm hoping to meet lots of people across the world as I continue my travels with my first trip to Europe!

I'm also hoping to learn from people and help add to the amazingness that is couch surfing !

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about my local areas history, wildlife and great places to go for a hike or take sunset pictures and everything about politics which I'm really well versed in, I've been told a few times from people I've met travelling that I know more about their home country politics then they do, this coming from people in South Africa and Ireland!

But I always want to learn more! If your into politics we will become super good friends!

I also love to learn people's stories from travels and life, be it sailing Lake Superior, the Caribbean or stories from riding the bus I love to hear all of it! People on CS have some of the most interesting lives and hearing all about there stories makes it such an amazing experience!

As for sharing I can share my knowledge of politics and my experience in life (although there isn't much yet) as well as stories but also a beer or if you don't drink we can share your favourite kind of beverage, every country has a different amazing tasting beverage I've found!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories from my life and a ice cold beer, my treat as well as interesting conversation, guaranteed!
