About Me

Average joyful Colombian traveling South America. Living simple, being outdoors and meeting people along the road are my life goals.

To me, the value of a journey is not bound to the number of places you visit, or the amount of souvenirs you get. Most of it is within the bonds you create with strangers and the simplest things you share with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is hard to find connection with a place you visit if you’re constantly on the run or just visiting the main checkpoints where everybody goes.

Couchsurfing allows you to enjoy a place in a local perspective. You get to listen to the real stories of a town, enjoy authentic meals and share your culture with the world.

As you share with travelers from all over the globe you constantly learn about several cultures and different points of view. This opens your mind and the way you see the world, you become more empathetic and less judgmental.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, reggae and folk are my jams, however, I love discovering new music and different rhythms around the world. I prefer documentaries about adventure and nature. Same with books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of Capitol Peak in Colorado. The way up was terrifying and really exposed. Although all the beauty payed for every step of the journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

There’s something I’ve realized in every journey. It is amazing how much people is willing to give without any interest. Like them, I am always willing to help and share as much as I can. There’s not always something material to give, but company and a good conversation are things you can always rely on me for.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking is a great way to express gratitude. I really enjoy sharing a warm meal and gather around the table with friends.

I also have a very good sense of humor and smiles are always available to share with everyone. :)

Countries I’ve Visited
