Im a History student from Québec who likes to travel and discover new places and people. I have a particular interest in fine beers, litterature and music. I am going to study for some months in Strasbourg (France) and i want to discover Europe from there. I am a really open-minded person and i wish to meet people like me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couchsurfing because over all i love to meet people and talk with them during my trips. I want to benefit from a different travel experience than staying in the hotels and couchsurfing offers exaclty what i want : The possibility to meet people and live new experiences at a low cost.

Je suis sur couchsurfing parce que par dessus tout j'aime rencontré des gens et discutés avec eux durant mes voyages. Je souhaite bénéficier d'une expérience de voyage différente de celle que peut m'offrir les séjours dans des hotels et c'est exactement ce que couchsurfing m'offre : la possibilité de rencontré de nouvelles figures et de vivre de nouvelles expériences à de faibles couts.

Interests

I also love sports. I especially love to play and watch tennis at the Montreal Roger's cup each year. Im also a player and fan of soccer and hockey because in montreal there is the best professionnal hockey team of all-time : The montreal Canadiens

About books : I particulary appreciate the french novels from the 19th century and especially the ones from Alexandre Dumas (Le comte de Monte Cristo, Trois-Mousquetaires) and Emile Zola. I love Fantasy (Dragon lance, David Gemell, Andrzej Sapkowski), Sci-Fiction (Werber, Asimov, Boule, Wells) and romanced biographys like the ones from Emmanuel Carrère.

About music : I really like indie rock and especially folk rock and also jazz, thus i'm really open-minded. I love the music from Beck, Arcade Fire, Pink Floyd

About movies: I love the trilogys of "Lord of the ring", "Matrix". I also love star wars and the movies of Kubrick especially "a clockwork orange"

I have crossed Russia in the trans-Siberian railway in the opposite way (Vladivostok to St-Petersburg)
