About Me

I am a very optimstic and energetic person, whenever I am not sleeping. I have decided to spend a year exploring, working my way through it and doing volunteer work; I want to get to know the world and what's really going on in it and what I can and should do towards it. Since I haven't yet found - if it exists - a purpose in life, I just try to have fun doing whatever interests me, mostly writing, drawing, and going places. I'm really drawn to talking to people and sharing stories and perspectives; I believe that's the most effective way to really learn something useful and worthwhile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to travel, to get to know places and people. The concept of couchsurfing to me sounds very natural and appealing. I was raised in a very covnentional way, but I realize that there is much trust and sharing lacking in society, so I'd like to experience a more open minded way of life; so this is why I'm here. I want to get to know your couch and your soul - to cheesy? Well, I sort of see it that way; friendship and love might wait at every stop. And in the end, the better end of the bargain will always be mine, because I have only the soul, the couch being yet my parents'. I can but thank thee hosts.

Interests

Watching films, reading, listening to music, walking, sitting around thinking , getting into adventures, playing guitar, writing (bad) songs, hiking hills and mountains, visiting old cities, going through museums, chilling and watching people go by, sending drunk texts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What could I consider amazing? Well, the most daring thing I have done, one could say, was to go on a cycling trip with nothing but my clothes and a tent, and some money for food, for a week. That felt amazing, but I am equally amazed sometimes when I just take a walk by the river; or when I'm walking down the street with some close friends and the whole world sort of feels like it's ours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The only thing I can share is my small perception of the world, often humurous, that keeps growing as I make my way in life while meeting new people and getting to know their ways of thinking.
