Since everyone on CS claims to be the most easy-going/open-minded host/traveler, I'll veer away from that - but if you consider yourself laid-back, non-judgmental and you don't shy away from going out (which doesn't necessarily mean partying), drinking, playing games, talking until dawn and being wild and spontaneous - this might be just the right couch/surfer for you!

My name is pronounced as "Rah-Yu-Wel", but I prefer to be called Rhaj. I'm a nurse working for an international organization specializing public health in emergencies/disasters.

I joined CS in 2012 but wasn't really an active member then. It was just only early last year that I started to welcome surfers in my home and I realized it's actually fun to meet new people who has the same passion as you. I like spending time with my surfers; I might not necessarily show you all the customs or tourist attractions or traditional food, but I will show you my life as a local, and it doesn't get any more real than that, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best part of travelling is sharing that moment with others. Not alone in a hotel room but with people who can give you something more - their passion, ideas, and friendship. That's the best part and that's why I'm on Couchsurfing!
