I`m a 19 year old guy from Norway. The next 6 months I will be traveling around in Europe staying at hostels, couchsurfing and doing Workaway.
I like traveling, sports, reading, hiking and nature. I finished High School last year and spent the last 6 months of 2015 working as an accountant to make money for this trip.
After the summer I will be going of to University to study Law. Either at Harvard or the local university of my hometown.
I have been working different jobs in addition to school for the last 5 years.
I have been very active in youth politics and I was the leader of the youth labor party in my hometown for a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling through Europe in an attempt to get more familiar with my continent. I think staying in hotels and hostels doesn't give you a chance to get to know a city or town for real. The only way to do that is to live with and hangout with locals. Therefore I would be honored if you would accept me into your home

Interests

I do a few different sports like volleyball, football, skiing, climbing and hiking. I'm also very interested in politics and have been active in that field for the last four years.

In addition I like reading, watching TV-series and movies and playing video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is either this norwegian band named "Kaizers Orchestra" or "REM". I also like rap, rock, indie and more.

My favorite movie is either Forrest Gump or Star Wars, but I can usually enjoy most movies (with some exceptions).

My favorite book or series of books is "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". If you have not read it, I highly recommend it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Macchu Picchu. I guess it's not that amazing, but the experience was very amazing to me.

I have also held a speech in the town square in front of ten thousand people and acted in an award-winning movie. (It even almost won an Oscar)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think it's only natural that if you allow me to live with you, than I should help around the house. I can help with cooking, cleaning, shopping or whatever else you need.

I would also really love to spend time with my hosts and do things together. If you don't want to do that, that's okay too. I will be very flexible both when it comes to schedules and when it comes to what kind of arrangement the hosts want.
