Overview
About Me
21 year old guy (as of the begin of 2019). I love music, love bettering myself, love exploring stuff, and love chatting with interesting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To save money! The best kind of answer :D. No but really, I like to meet new people. This kind of accommodation is definetly way more outside of my comfort zone than a basic hotel for example, and as a person who strongly dislikes living in fear/comfort, it's the first choice to take. Plus you can't really learn about the city when you just book a hotel.
Interests
My biggest interest would be drums. I've been playing only for a year as of the begin of 2019, but I love every second of it. Would love to be doing that for living in the future.
With that comes of course the love for music in general. I listen to almost anything that's good. When the song has drums in them, even better. That's how Twenty one Pilots became my #1 band. Bunch of awesome songs that are way too big of a fun to play on drums.
I like reading, listening to Audio books, watching self development videos on YouTube, just bettering myself and my mind in general. The last 5 Audio books I listened to were:
• Long walk to Freedom - Nelson Mandela
• Waking the Tiger - Peter A. Levine
• Levels of Energy - Frederick E. Dodson
• Elon Musk Biography - Ashlee Vance
• Can't hurt me - David Goggins
I like to meditate sometimes. I'm not a full on spiritual guy tho, as I'm also not a full on atheist. I like being open minded, and as with everything, there is a healthy balance between the two.
TV Shows, Movies. Love them. I'm very big Marvel fan. Me and my brother. Tissues for Avengers4 already prepared.
Working out. I was pretty skinny as a kid, got to a normal skinny over time. Somehow I can't seem to cross the barrier of really putting the mass for whatever reason. That's why this year, 2019, I booked as many Spartan Races as possible, to keep me motivated, and hopefully get the beautiful double trifecta medal at the end of it. Finished my very first Spartan Race in January, and it was a blast.
I haven't been travelling much yet. I lived in 3 Countries so far, but haven't really travelled. Will hopefully update this in the near future :D.
My biggest life motto would be to go where your fear is pointing. Embrace the discomfort. Live in it. I'm not always living by these words, mainly because growing up wasn't easy, but I'm trying. Nobody is perfect :D.
