Hi there! My name is Kačka (or Kateřina, Káťa, Katka, Kačí...- Czechs love nicknames :D). I'm 21 years old and I study Bioinformatics at Charles University in Prague, Capital of the Czech Republic.

I love advertures, challenges and trying new things (mainly food!). I love animals - I have a dog Čenda, who was mistreated by his former owner, so I took him, and he is my best friend now. He even goes to university with me! I also have two gigantic african snails :-D I love reading books, because they hide a lot of knowledge, and I prefer it to watching films. Also music is my great passion. I play 5 musical instruments (guitar, ukulele, piano, cajon and darbuka) - but definitelly not professionally, just for fun!

I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, they always have something important to teach you.

For one year, I was a member of AIESEC, the biggest student organization in the world, and that was the time I realized how awesome is travelling and meeting people from different cultures.

I hosted several people at my home in Prague, for example Ryan, awesome guy from South Africa, then Wojciech from Poland and two guys from Croatia. It was so awesome, that I decided to try couchsurfing!
