Overview
About Me
I'm from Koronadal but I'm currently studying here in Davao, and I will be here for the next 4 or 5 years, if the universe conspires. I am a very easy-going person who likes adventures, and movies, music and food, in no particular order :)
UPDATE:
I'm done with school (for now), and back in Koronadal. I'm busier, but not much else have changed. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To those things mentioned above which I like, traveling should probably be added-- it may even top the list! However, I never get to go anywhere anymore since I went back to school.
Sooooo, I thought, while I'm postponing my wanderlust , why don't I pay-it-forward and host travelers in my humble place (which is conveniently right in the middle of the city), so that maybe, someday, when my circumstances permit, I could crash some "friends' home" and be greeted with a warm "about time you got here."

Music, Movies, and Books
The 90's are my Wonder Years, so..... I like those angsty female singers (not the boy bands) -- Natalie Imbruglia, Fiona Apple, Garbage, Texas, Portishead, Skunk Anansie; but I love the Beatles too, and beach music (Jack Johnson);
Movies - everything, as long as they're not melodramatic or predictable; of late, I seem to particularly dig those weird indie films from Cannes and Sundance.
Books - those written by Neil Gaiman and Stephen King, and poetry and mystery books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went back to school! After being employed for more than 10 years, I decided to drop everything and pursue a dream. It's unnerving as hell outside of the comfort zone, but I'm happy :D

Im juggling, work + extra work + time with fam and friends and 15 furbabies, and a love life. :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the guitar-- well, just the basics, and I can teach you the Filipino language and a couple of Philippine dialects if you want.
And if you wanna try cooking Filipino recipes like the famous ADOBO, I can be a non-mean Gordon Ramsay and show you how it's done ((at the rooftop kitchen)
I want to learn how to bake; and swim where the water is more than 6 feet deep ( i'm a shallow person -- literally) and not think that sharks are going to eat me; and I want to learn how to speak other languages.
I can share (anything) when sharing is called for.
What I Can Share with Hosts
