Hi, my name is Peter. I am 24 years old student from Prague, Czech republic. I study Cybernetics and Robotics for bachelors degree at Czech Technical University Prague and I hope on continuing for masters probably at electronics. I have lived in Prague my whole life, I have a sister thats 9y.o. older than me and I have two beautiful nieces. Currently I am living at Žižkov quarter with my girlfriend of three years, Kristýna, in a small one room flat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel with my girlfriend and try out something different for accomodation, and we heard good stuff about couchsurfing. We also want to save money :)

Interests

My main interest is playing the guitar and making music. I play electric guitar, ukulele, a little bit of piano and I love playing drums although I don't have any. I also compose music on the computer using Ableton and other means, combining live recordings and synthesized arrangements. I used to be in a post-rock band for 4 years but we recently disbanded.
Other from music, I enjoy making simple electronics, such as effect pedals and other stuff - I'm an amateur but I hope in expanding this skill in the future. I also have a big interest in science and space, I often spend hours reading Wikipedia articles on the internet.
Other interests are browing the net, programming, painting, comics, board games, cooking...

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy post-rock music, math rock, ambient, doom metal and stuff like this. I also like electronic music, but thats really up to the taste with some bands. I can enjoy almost every music. I like Marvel movies, fantasy and scifi movies but also romantic movies. I dont read books too much, but I like Harry Potters, Tolkien works, comics and stuff like this. I also like watching series, I love Game of Thrones, Archer, Simpsons, Vikings, Black Books, STAR TREK(!!!) - Voyager and Next Generation, Star Gate SG1, the IT Crowd, Rats on Coccaine, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on tour once with my former band for ten days and didn't die of starvation stress or boredom, even though a fire extinguisher fell from van on my big toe in Graz and I nearly evaporated from the pain. :)
