About Me

I'm a very active person always searching for something to do.
If I hear music I can't resist and just start to dance through the flat. That's not that bad but if I start singing than stop me for your good because I sing really bad...but I love it!
I'm happy with lots of friends around me...Just going out for a dance or a glass of wine, cook together or organizing a girls night.
If I could I would travel the whole world to get to know all these different cultures and people...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Throughout my travel in Australia I stayed in just a few hotels as I don't like the atmosphere with noone talking to each other and just minding their own business.
Therefore I stayed with lots of families, met nice people throughout the world I stayed with and enjoyed staying in homestays in Asia- getting to know different cultures, different ways of living, local food and trying to communicate with the few sentences I knew in this language.

Interests

I love to do different kinds of sports as much as possible. I'm always out to go skating or swimming in summer or try to find some people to play volleyball.
Throughout every year I save money to go on my usual one-week-holiday in Austria to go skiing and ice skating as much as possible and to enjoy the snow to the fullest. As I landed in a Australia and Asia there was nearly no hope to see any snow here so I switched to learn how to surf, go diving as much as possible, snorkeling, Hiking and Rafting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read a lot and sometimes throughout the whole night...
Books: authors paige toon, jane austen , Frank Schätzing, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, also loved to read Harry Potter/ Lord of the Ring/ Hobbit...
Movies: meet joe black, divergent, fast and the furious, entrapment, no reservations, Honig im Kopf, der Nanny, Keinohrhasen, Ziemlich beste Freunde, some series as Lucifer, Hawaii FiveO, Blindspot...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I teached kids to abseil on their own down a rock and there was this young guy, brave enough to admit in front of his friends that he is scared about it. This whole abseiling would take you 4 min with routine but with him it took nearly 30. I had to convince him of his strength every meter, had to talk to him to keep his mind away of the fact that there is nothing below him. He made it down the rock and he was soo proud of himself...to me there is nothing more beautiful than the smile on people's faces once they beat their fears.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always good for a laugh and am a good person to cook with and have a relaxed evening with a nice glass of wine and good food.
I'd love to do some sports together and go out to dance, could even teach you to dance.
I'm currently on my way back from one and a half years of backpacking and am more than happy to share my experiences in different countries and am interested to learn more about yours.
