Overview
About Me
I'm 36 years old and lived all my life within in my homeland. I currently work at the Argentine Foreign Office in Buenos Aires but also as a freelance translator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of getting in contact with people from different countries, getting to know them and, why not, making friends with them. These days there's the feeling that the world is growing smaller and smalller and travelling overseas is far easier and less expensive than it used to be. I believe Couchsurfing epitomizes this feeling, offering a novel and exciting way of travelling and meeting new people.
Interests
Travelling, trekking, learning languages, swimming (I find it very relaxing), pottery and stained glass, environment and alternative resources.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like progressive rock, much electronica, space rock, some world music, also much experimental and avant-garde music, medieval and celtic music; and the list goes on.
Movies: I guess I'm quite eclectic about my tastes in movies. I like most the work of directors Richard Linklater (I love the "Before..." trilogy), Jim Jarnusch (notably Dead Man and The Way of the Saumurai), and David Lynch. I love all the anime production of Miyazaki and much of what Gibli Studios have produced. I also love Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Westerns and John Carpenter's Horror Movies.
Books: I'll pick the complete collection of short stories by Franz Kafka and a sellection of traditional japanese Haikus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I suppose hitchhiking all the way to the Machu Picchu ruins may count as an amazing deed. Otherwise, at the risk of striking many as uninteresting, my life has been rather uneventful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know what I'm supposed to add here. Anyway I would say that every good teacher is also a good learner and viceversa.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything, I suppose.
