I am an 20 year old engineering student who moved to London to learn about bricks and bridges. Originally I am from a big family and a small town and I enjoy learning languages, playing sports or reading. I am a scout and I love the outdoors.
I like meeting people, at first I might seem shy but the ice melts away quickly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Collecting experience, opinions, moments and adding them into mine.
I also love talking about my own country and broaden other people's views on it.
It's always fun to find that one cultural thing that just seems so strange compared to what you're used to and open your mind to the amazing diversity of the world.
I cannot offer a place to stay overnight since I am living in college halls, but next year I'll hopefully have the chance to finally be a host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Terry Pratchett! I enjoy lots of different books, I grew up reading Karl May, then I went with fantasy (HP, Eragon) and I have read basicly everything I have been able to get my hand on. I am not that picky when it comes to books, whether it is a detective story, historical or classic literature.
Books that make me stop and think or open my eyes to a new way of thinking are the best ones.
There's also plenty of high quality literature written by Czech authors I will happily recommend - Klíma, Hrabal, Fuks, Čapek...

I can share knowledge about Czech and partly German culture, also few languages on different levels and some travel stories.
I can show you around in London/Prague.
Funny stories about my country.
I can teach you how to make Knedlíky (dumplings), though I still need to practise a bit.

If you are interested we can spend some time together talking and I would love to exchange experience and share some stories together. My cooking skills are limited, but that does not need to stop me from trying :)
