Overview
About Me
I am Magda. I love food and this is why I quitted my first profession (I worked as a lawyer for several years) and started to write about food. I like to share my love to Polish cuisine, and believe me that it may be surprising!
Over the last few years, I have developed my passion for gastronomy, working as a food journalist specializing in culinary traditions. I share my discoveries and stories about the history of Polish cuisine. I love to find out about the history of each food item or food preparation. I love modern books about food, but I am really into old cookbooks which are a great source of inspiration! I write a blog about Polish food in English.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and to discover new dishes, other cultures and of course I love to cook and to eat. I like to listen to other people stories and to talk as well. If you would like to learn about Krakow, local food, where to eat, or try home made Polish dishes, you are invited to my place. I organize private dinners with local specialties! You can check out one of them here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6t5xG49jF8

I can teach how to make Polish dumplings so you can become a "pierogi" eater and many other Polish dishes and soup - barszcz, żurek and so on! It is easy and delicious!
