About Me
Hello CS community,
I was born and raised in Colombia but have lived abroad for around seven years. I studied political science, work as political analyst for a while, then move to Brazil for as volunteer working with seeds, became a language teacher, and now came back to academia and writing my PhD thesis on peace and conflict research.
I lived in several countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, aiming to make a big trip at some point in South East-Asia or Middle East. And always craving for travelers to crush in my couch or to let me crush in their couches. Some my passions are music, photography, art, traveling and outdoor sports.
Everyone is welcome regardless your backgrounds, no matter what!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I knew about CS because an NGO in US. I have found in Couch surfing the most amazing way to improve my knowledge about the world, culture and people. A dinner night is enough to learn more than in a traditional university class. Of course, with more fun!
Interests
I have a lot of different interest, but let's right now I am into photography. Doing a lot of stuff with street photography, portraits and Landsacape. Check my IG if you wish: @juandi122
