Overview
About Me
Hola,
We are Bea and Daniele, inspired travel lovers.
We are a Spanish-Italian couple in our early 30’s brimming with regained excitement and rediscovered purpose in our lives.
We have been working for several years in big multinational companies like Amazon, Cisco, EMC and others to then find out we were completely unaccomplished and dissatisfied with the servile 9 to 5 office lifestyle.
So a few months ago we came up with a total revolution: quitting our jobs and leaving for a truly extraordinary adventure, timeless (open deadline) and boundless (no defined territory).
To explain all this we have opened our cherished blog:
http://nomadxpress.org
https://www.facebook.com/nomadxpress/
Our slogan is:
"Passion is Action ( No boundaries, No deadline, No prejudices)”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Our trip will be completely by ground or boat, in some cases hitchhiking. We will try to focus on sharing platforms (Coachsurfing, Carsharing, etc..) to reduce our social and environmental impact as well as help the local communities.
We will join portals like Workaway (https://www.workaway.info/) and WWOF (http://www.wwoof.net/) to enjoy, support and promote a closer cultural exchange as well as voluntary jobs in contact with the regional social fabric.

Music, Movies, and Books
Into the wild and Motorcycle diaries are our favorite or as well movies like Wild and Tracks.
Documentaries like Bye bye Barcelona show a different point of view of the mass tourism.
A selection of modern books inspiring travels:
On the road (Jack Kerouac), epic beat-generation, coast-to-coast adventure.
In Patagonia (Bruce Chatwin), Chatwin’s tale of the region he visited in 1974.
The Border trilogy (Cormac McCarthy), great cowboys’ tales.
René Leys (Victor Segalen), set in dinasty Qing’s China.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting this amazing experience and challenge called: Nomadxpress.org
The trip is divided in three “Checkpoints”:
1. The legendary Silk Road from Venice to Xian as narrated in Marco Polo’s and other great travellers’ books.
2. The astonishing Asian Southeast from China to New Zealand, including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.
3. To be confirmed yet and not planned, only living the moment.
