About Me

I'm really easy-going and talkative person, who loves to just sit and talk for hours. I love people with passion and love hearing some funny and inspiring stories about their interests. I also love board games, so I will be so excited if you wanna play some too! I have a "chillout" attitude towards life, but that doesn't mean I'm just busy chilling, I love to be active, love to explore some new fields of interests :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply because I really love to meet new people and make new friends, especially from all over the world. When I lived in the dorm in Shanghai I meet a lot of crazy weirdos and I realized that getting to know other cultures is the best thing in travelling, that's why I start my couchsurfing experience :)

Interests

Languages
I studied chinese (both simplified and traditional characters) for three years in Cracow and managed to pass HSK5. I've been studying business chinese in Shanghai Normal University. I was learning french in high school but forgot a lot, so I will be glad to catch up some words. In China I also met a lot of spanish speakers, so I started to learn spanish with them :) Now I'm living in Porto and learning Portuguese.

Sport
I'm really into extreme sports, especially those connected to water and snow. I've been skiing since i was 4 years old, but three years ago I switched to snowboard, it's so much fun! Every year I go twice or three times for a snowboarding trip, mostly to Austria, France or Italy. Italian pizza on a slope is the best thing ever!

I also windsurf, dive and two years ago started to learn how to kitesurf. It's not easy to be honest, but it's so amazing that I want more and more. I go to polish sea to master kitesurfing skills every holiday. In China I also tried paragliding in Hangzhou, it was so much fun, everyone should give it a try!

I'm also an amateur photographer, in high school I was attending some courses so during travels I love going to some landscape places or just simply walk around some busy streets :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I love every kind of music, starting from Metallica, Disturbed or Iron Maiden, going through Nirvana, Pearl Jam, reggae beats, Die Antwoord, The Prodigy, ending with hip-hop classics, like Dead Prez, Guru, Outkast etc.

I'm more into books than into movies. My favourite books are those based on facts, biographies etc. I also watch some tv series, I highly recommend watching The OA, Black Mirror and ofc Game of Thrones, it's such a masterpiece.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to finish most demanding chinese studies in Poland and didn't die in the process, so for me that's the huge success.
I got a scholarship to study business chinese in Shanghai - one of the most amazing cities in the world!
I moved to Porto alone.
I can kitesurf more or less on my own and that's not easy!
I am a master in cooking lazania :) I also bake pretty awesome cakes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have two favourite Kurt Cobains quotes, my favourite vocalist on earth and I think they are so beautiful in their simplicity that really describe my attitude towards life :)
- Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.
- I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Funny stories (I talk a lot, so there is no worry it will be quiet xd)
