Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Food's a big past-time of mine! Learning how to cook various dishes from people is a great draw!

Also, Couchsurfing opens up so much opportunity to meet people from a variety of cultures, which are so different from mine! Being a social science major, the inner-workings of diverse cultures are fascinating! I would love to be engaged on issues from day-to-day living to even politics!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into acoustic music or alt rock bands! Pop rock and jazz are great too! There's just something about catchy melodies and funky beats that get to me. I sing, play the guitar and a little bit of the piano. I'm no professional (no where near actually), but it's fun to jam around with friends, cranking out tunes for leisure!

Movies are a great past-time of mine - almost all genres except horror. My favourite movie, to date, is probably "The Prestige" with Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. I'd have to admit, chick flicks are a guilty pleasure as well XD.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm...I could teach you Singlish, the local language in Singapore. I could definitely help you pick up my lame jokes too! If you'd like, we can converse in Mandarin if that's a language you want to pick up!
