Hi, My name is Fábio and i'm currently in the last year of my Mechanical Engineering degree. I'm from Portugal but i'm currently living in the Netherlands, because i'm doing Erasmus and i will stay here probably until the end of July.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to be apart of the Couchsurfing community but in Portugal i don't have the chance to receive couchsurfers in my home because i live with my parents, so i didn't think it was fair to be a couchsurfer without having the chance to receive them in my home. Currently i live in the Netherlands in a shared flat and i have a chance to receive couchsurfers, so i'm becoming one as well.

兴趣

I like to travel and take photos of the places i visit, get to know new cultures and new people. One of the things i enjoy the must is to just relax and drink some beers while i get to know new people. I enjoy to take walks in the nature. I love to spend time with my friends from my university, doing all sort of things. In general i like to be around people and put myself out there, but sometimes i need my alone moments, but not that often, don't worry!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Me and 3 friends made a crazy trip until Croatia! We took a bus from Rotterdam to Brussels, got on a plain, rented a car(not any car! It was a Fiat Panda! the car was so shitty that it made the trip so fun and AWESOME!!) in Treviso, Italy, and we drove all the way to Novalja in Croatia! we sent there 3 days and did the exact same thing back! One on the best trips of my life! The view along the roads in Croatia is absolutely mesmerizing.

And also Camping in the wild with basically nothing, not even cellphone network! Loved it!

I think people should argue more about everything! And by arguing i don't mean scream, or get aggressive, i mean exchange ideas and views about a certain subject. Arguing is a great way to exchange knowledge, so count me in on that!
