Hello, I am Sofía and I am from Spain. I love travelling around the world, especially as a backpacker, since I think it is one of the best ways to get to meet wonderful people and knowing the true country you are visiting. I like to help people in exchange of accommodation. i always think that we must see traveling as a way of sharing things, and not only as a simple way of relaxing and going to all the touristy places everybody goes. Traveling also involves an effort: helping, learning, respecting and adapting to the new environment.
I consider myself very open minded and I would like to learn as much as possible from every person that I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it´s a wonderful way to continue with the passion of meeting new people and cultures. Being in a native´s house is the perfect way to do so! And of course, it is an economic help for many young ( and also not so young) travelers!

Interests

I practice karate since I was 6 years old and every since, I cannot live without it.
I love languages, and I consider I have a great capacity to learn new ones, that it why I enjoy speaking with people and learning from their culture
I like nature, I live in a small city near Madrid near the mountains and I enjoy hiking and walking through them!
