I'm pretty bad for introducing myself, especially when it comes to writing,

I'm 20, I'm a french student in languages and social sciences, I did my first two years in France in Grenoble, and I'm currently doing an Erasmus exchange in Tenerife (canary islands) for 1 year.
I'm interested in so much things and always want to discover more and share with people, that's why I really enjoy travelling,

My next project after my erasmus is to take a gap year, I want to use this time for travelling but not only, I want to put my travels to good use and do some voluntary work and internships in NGO's, fields in which I would like to pursue my studies after.
I'm really concerned about doing it the right way, I'm against "voluntourism", so if you have some experiences to share about that don't hesitate it'd be a pleasure !

Apart from that I'm a joyful girl, I'm always looking on the bright side, tolerance and open-mindedness are the most important values for me !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I think that meeting people during trips is one of the best way to have great memories and true friendships, and well ... isn't it the point of traveling ? For me yes !

It's a platform that allows you to meet, become friends, experience things and share with so many different people that you'd probably never met without it, so I think that the question isn't why I'm on couchsurfing but more ... why there are still some travelers who aren't ? ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say plan a roadtrip across Europe, with a Friend I only knew for few weeks, eating at McDonald's and writing the countries we wanted to visit behind a receipt... And of course doing this Roadtrip a few months later, during a whole month and across 7 different countries.
