Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm most keen on meeting new people, making friends. I want to explore the world by meeting its inhabitants, sharing culture, interests, tradition, skill, qualities. It's all about creating certain common ground where we all can live together, coexist, experience our diversity and pass on what we've got the best. Over the years I've experiences an enormous amount of kindness, openness and generosity from people that I met on my way. Good resonates, affects and infects and I want to be a part of this process. The mode of travelling that I've chosen allows me the hands-on experience of how it works, well, it got me addicted - to be more precise. Addicted to this sense of being a small part of infinite net of connections, to the conviction that there are no coincidental encounters, the freedom, the venturing out to face the unknown, being surprised and spellbound by life...I can go on and on...
But I'd rather tell you that face to face :)

Also, one thing that I regret is that because over the course of the last few years I've been only renting a flat and in most cases living with a landlord/landlady of the place I haven't been able so far to host. But my own future house will certainly have its door open for travellers - that's my first and only, so far, arrangement in relation to the moment I finally settle down in one place.
So then - you'll be welcome with all your stories, beautiful and interesting self and traveller's bug.

Interests

Music music music!! Good music. Sharing it, inspiration exchange. When we listen to music together, parts of our worlds align.
Dance - the more the better. Place and time don't matter, as long as there's latin music going on. And a... salsa partner :)
Travelling (backpacking in particular!) - it has become sort of my lifestyle recently and I'd be a liar if I said I don't like it. My backpack never shuts up, I can hear it calling me unceasantly.
Football (oui, messieurs, I'm serious here. But I mean watching matches, not playing. Especially when we have different affiliations - then things fierce :))
Sport, sweat, workout.
Books. Never let me close to the bookstores (let alone antiquarian bookshops. Those who gave it a try regret it now :))
Baking, cooking, mixing, blending, smashing up, slicing - the whole process of creating something delicious. Or poisonous (depends on the recipient ;))
Creating. DIY, drawing, artistic expression of any type
Seaglass. Coffee. Wild birds.
Doing weird things with a good companion. Memories - I want to collect them.

Experiencing, learning, discovering, loving nature more and more.
Loving people.
Enjoying life to the fullest. :)
