About Me

I consider myself as nonbinary, polyamorous and asexual. If you're confused with these words or their definition feel free to ask!

My friends would probably consider me an introvert since I am very observing, quiet and a little shy at first. But after a good chit chat I open up to be a funny, friendly, caring, supportive person and a good listener in general. We'll probably get along!

I am applying to become a carpenter soon after I did not get into university for Illustration.

Growing up on the countryside with four siblings and a lot of animals, I learned early on to take responsibility, share, help in the household, work in the garden etc.
Therefore I feel comfortable with both, large groups and being alone. I enjoy nature and animals a lot, especially dogs and cats and I try to live on DIY a lot.

My free time is filled with drawing, reading, tattooing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, listening to music, eating (very important!), soaking up sun rays and just spending time outside in general.

I am a vegetarian and straight edge, therefore don't drink, smoke or do drugs but whatever you feel like is ok, doesn't bother me.

Different people and different opinions are very interesting and i love to have long conversations about it but I do not tolerate sexism, racism, trans- or homophobia or any hateful behaviour at all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on here because couch surfing is so much more than just hosting tourists. Couch surfing is learning about new countries, cultures and people. You want to get to know the real country? Have a local showing it to you!

Interests

I do like any kind of creative productivity, making art has always been a big part of my life but I also like to read a lot, especially about feminism and anarchy. I love the countryside, nature and animals since this is where I grew up. If I don't draw, read or knit somewhere outside in the sunshine you'd probably find me on some kind of anarchistic left political concert, festival or simply in my favorite veggie restaurant.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a lot of music and it is a very important part of my life. Whatever it is from hiphop to folk, from classical music to Punkrock, from jazz to alternative indie stuff. I even like a lot of electronic music and especially to dance a lot. So basically whatever is danceable I probably like it,
introduce me to your favourite music!

Movies: I have a deep love for French cinema and one of my favourite movies just now is "Blue is the warmest colour".
Hollywood and all its blockbusters are not my biggest interest but I'd probably watch it with you anyways. Studio Ghibli Movies are also always a gem!

Books:
I've been reading since the first day I got the whole alphabet together. Books have always been the perfect escape for me. Whatever world you want to live in just read a book about it and jump right in, phantasy or not.
My current favorites are definitely Laurie Penny's "Meat Market", "Unspeakable Things" and "Babymaking and other stories".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once built an acoustic guitar myself in a two weeks workshop... I just don't know how to play it.

I also went to two Akua Naru concerts already which I'd consider some of the most important and most wonderful experiences I made so far. You never heard of her? Go check her out!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some German, I can teach you how to knit, crochet or make friendship bracelets. I also like to do buzz cuts on people and dye hair. I also do tattoos per hand or machine.

Learn: I'd probably like to lean what ever you have to offer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't really share anything materiel I guess but what I have to give is lots of love, humor and deep conversations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom
