I grew up in Kentucky, but am currently going to college out of state at Indiana Wesleyan University. I am majoring in Nursing and when I graduate I plan on moving home to work at a pediatric hospital there. I have an older sister, and two brothers. I love traveling, meeting new people, and exploring beautiful places. I recently went to Australia where me and a friend went on our first mini backpacking adventure together, showing us how much we would love to continue to do it into the future.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While backpacking in Australia me and a friend met some new people along the way who introduced us to this idea of couchsurfing. Now about a year later me and mikayla, my same friend from before, are embarking on a new adventure to backpack around Europe. Being poor college students we are on a limited budget and hope to meet some new friends along the way through couchsurfing. Learning about different cultures, languages, and lifestyles have always been areas that I am excited to experience, as well as share my own personal background.

One of my first passions is traveling. Seeing, experiencing, and learning about different cultures is a passion of mine that has only grown over time. There are so many beautiful places to see and experience, and the idea of missing out is an option I do not like to entertain. I want to travel and meet as many new people as I can while I am still young and able. Helping others is another passion of mine. Being a nursing major I love learning new ways to be effective when caring for those suffering from different injuries and illnesses. Hopefully someday I can combine these two passions by becoming a traveling nurse. The last passion I will share is reading. I always think when you cant go there in person you can always read about it in the meantime. I am constantly reading, and I can honestly say this world would not be the same without books :)
