About Me
Hello everyone!
My name's Myriam, I was born in southern France but I'm currently living in Orléans (near Paris) where I work as a teacher in secondary school. Actually I teach French, Latin and classical Greek and I love it!
I'm very keen on languages, especially the ancient ones, but I'd love to learn more modern languages as well. As for Spanish, I understand it quite well (C1) due to my mother family who comes from Cantabria (in Spain), but I still speak it badly, so I try to improve my level going in Spain as often as possible.
My English level is average, as I didn't speak it for a while (B2). My level in Icelandic and Polish is basic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really believe in the fact that when you visit a country, if you want to understand it and benefit from it properly, you have to be immersed in the culture and among the people. I also believe that's so suitable for the open-mindedness.
