Hello! My Name is Caylen and I am from friendly Canada! I love to travel and see the world and all its beauty, and love to meet new people and make new friends on the way.
I just joined couch-surfing because i really want to see countries how they really are, locally, not the commercialized tourist side of things. I love to see the real side of the countries i go to. There is nothing like living like the locals live, to experience the country and how it really is.
Although i am a guest in every country i travel in, i try as much as possible to be a apart of the culture i am in, and do my best to respect the way of life.
I am new to this site which means i have almost no references, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have!

I believe that what you want in life you have to try and mirror. Do you want people to trust you, have faith in them, do you want to make friends, be a friend others would love to have, do you want forgiveness, then you must give it.
I try my best to live courageously and honestly, speaking whats in my heart and trying to live true to who i am.
I believe that all goodness comes from God and that he created everything.
I love simplicity and try to live simple peaceful life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As stated above we love to travel, and we have a real desire to make friends in new countries, and to learn how to live like a local, in each country we go to. We love culture, and believe the more we can learn about the culture in the different countries we explore, the more we will be able to help those countries hold on to the culture that makes them unique to the rest of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got married!! I actually found a woman crazy enough to spend the rest of her life with me!! haha
One amazing thing i was able to do was take a three month aquaponics course in Puerto Rico with my wife. That was a beautiful country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some things I would love to learn are; how to harvest rice, how to pick tea, learn sitar and learn yoga.
I would love to share and teach about my country and culture and experiences I have learned along the way, but mostly to be honest I want to learn from you.
