Overview
About Me
I was born in the United States and grew up in south-western Germany. Since February, I work as a Primary School Teacher at a school located within the Black Forest.
I'd describe myself as genuine, open-minded, considerate and sometimes a bit chilled as I'm always 5 min late (but I really TRY :P). I'm an animal and nature lover and hanging around children makes me happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet and host people from all over the world to share views and to discover (and provide) the feeling of being at home no matter where we come from. To actually get to know the real, authentic culture and everyday life of locals and their visitors is the main reason for me to travel.
Interests
I love doing sports, mainly with others together. So hiking, swimming, running, climbing, ball games or just going for a walk is always a good way to spend the day. I also like to cook with others and try to enlarge my cooking skills on a regular basis. And most importantly: I love to dance!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open for any type of music unless it suits my current emotions.
When it comes to good movies, I'm passionate, no matter what genre. But I'm literally obsessed with Quentin Tarantino movies and probably watch them a million times until I die :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling the island of Jamaica, seeing it's beautiful Blue Mountains and meeting wonderful people.
Couchsurfing all of our 2 weeks in Israel and hiking the Golan Heights - amazing.
Discovering the vast landscape and monumental mountains of north Norway.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing laughs, yoga & dance moves, vegan/vegetarian meals and good vibes 😊
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will respect you and your facilities to the fullest! We can share stories and thoughts and just have a good time together. I could introduce you to the vegetarian/vegan kitchen and if you're interested in Germany or the German language I can help you with that :)
