Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting a place as a tourist is always worth the experience.
However, I was always more attracted to the idea of actually living there, getting to know the culture, people, language, etc.

Unfortunately, life is too short to live in every country for a long time. What I'm hoping is for couchsurfing to be some kind of a middle ground, where it allows you to meet local people and, in a short period of time, get a little bit of that feeling as if you were living there.

I have more hobbies than free time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock in general and love alternative rock in particular, but I can have a blast dancing to house and you can also find me listening to hip-hop or just pop.
Favorite bands: The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters.

I love movies. It's one of my main hobbies and I'm always open to new things, no matter the genre, year or format.
I'm fine watching the last blockbuster but I'll also enjoy the hell out of a Tarkovsky movie if that's also what you are into :)
I have a soft spot for Fight Club, a movie that I try to watch at least once a year.
Also, and even though it's not a movie, I just have to mention that The Sopranos is the best show ever. Love it!

Uh ok so let's talk about books too! I do like reading, and just like with anything else I'm open to everything. I've read a little bit of everything, so I'm no sage but I can maintain a conversation!
Stephen King is that guy that I read when I want to be sure I'm going to like what I'm reading.

I'm a really easy-going person and I can adapt to pretty much everything.
