Overview
About Me
Heyo, thanks for passing by!
My story:
I was born in Rome, then moved to Sardinia, and then I moved back to Rome. I taught myself english and how to make videogames, which is what I do to pay rent nowadays.
I am currently a freelancer on a journey around the world. Ask me anything about virtual reality!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For a chance to have one more moment worth remembering, be it a walk in the park or a fall with a rope tied to my ankles.
Interests
I enjoy talking about deep stuff. Anthropology is a great topic but anything goes, as long as it is not frivolous chitchat. I do also enjoy being extremely silly tho.
I take interest in all kind of events, I like sports, esports, programming, mathematics, opera and all the other things I forgot to type!
One could write a lot about himself, but in the end, being social is not about the self: if you ask me to join you in something that you are genuinely passionate about, I will probably say yes.
- hang gliding
- anthropology
- engineering
- acrobatics
- hip hop dance
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love Chuck Palahniuk, Walter Moers, yet I don't read regularly. The last book I read is "The Dangerous Liaisons".
Movies: The Big Lebowski is definitely in my top list, and so is Birdman.
Music: Big subject. Nowadays I am into Diablo swing orchestra (swing metal), chaos chaos (indie pop) and good old Biggie Smalls.
Among my favorite tv shows there are Utopia, Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was just a boy, I ranked 20 out of 1200 people in the national mathematic olimpics. Those 1200 people were pre-selected in a regional selection iteration, and we competed at the Bocconi University, in Milan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the basics of programming, what is a game engine, how videogames are made and how the gaming industry works! I can help you with depression and anxiety as I proudly beat the crap outta them, and I could share my knowledge about the energy of the universe and the dangers of the new world!
I'd like to learn many things, but peculiar habits of indigenous people are something I love in particular.
I can share my enthusiasm, my energy and my desperate awkwardness, but I can also share a comforting silence.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I am grateful to someone, I tend to be the best person I can be, which is what I would offer.
I'd also cook for you, as I would love cooking.
