Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am studying abroad this semester and am looking for the best ways to fully experience different countries cultures. I believe that the best way to experience a country or city is through the people that live there and are locals who can introduce you to more than just the typical tourist locations. I am looking for a not only a place to sleep during my travels but also a place to make new friends.
