About Me
IMPORTANT: I ve got a trustroots profile where you can contact me, I don´t like the new policy by CS sanfrancisco where you are now forced to pay for using this once special community.
Current mission:
Experiencing different ways of community living.
I´m a human soul which is moving around and the most happy to do so, open-minded, generally polite person who likes to travel especially via hitchhiking and meeting like-minded heartbeats in other cultures while leaving my bubble I grew up in.
Think global, Act local: I stand up to battle many forms of discrimination in this "global society" which means making individual responsibility visible and at the same time criticise the structural roots. Keyword colonial continiuities...
*I love myself (not in a egoistic way, just accepting myself as I am, "love yourself so others can love you" or so)
*I love people with a special charisma
*I love to discuss but also enjoy silence at the right time.
*I love laying in bed in the morning and don't have to stand up (actually it's a rare event because I usually have plans)
*I love being just stupid and crazy with friends
*I love food, sleeping and cuddling. I am a pretty active person and try to be in nature or at least staring into something natural green once a day .
*I love people who just do polite things for no reason, just smiling and live in a respectful way.
"Be the change you want to see in the world"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Get to know interesting people and learn about their environment and culture because traveling and sleeping at a strangers home is the best way to get to know the country with its folks.
Interests
I am part of an improvisation theater group and in the crew of the KüfA* (Kitchen for everybody*- cooking together with rescued ecological food)
I worked as a youth-trainer for global north/south schoolpartnerships (keyword: sensitivity for given power structures). Currently I work as a teamer for projectdays in schools on discrimination sensibility and courageful action.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band since a while is bukahara. It's a mix of English German and Arabic sound. Just listen and try to find me in the music video:
Books and Movies: I am a huge Harry Potter Fan. It was my childhood and still lives in my mind till I have children so I can read them the books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving in a car with a huge crack through the windscreen without a safety seat belt and 80 kilometer per hour throught the over one meter big blow holes which made the ride "amazing". (Tanzania,2016, thought I would die)
Being part of the music video ,,no!" from my favourite band (look above, March 2017). Was like an amazing oneday festival!
Turned my way of living and eating into vegan lifestyle, it's healthy, it's good for the environment and my biggest point: it a first step ending the cruelty not even to animals but also to all human beings at this incredible planet. You might think about this sentence: "the animals of the rich eat the food of the poor"
BUT: I have no problem in general being around people who eat meat and I don't have to talk about my veganism, it's part of me but there are a lot of other interesting topics to talk about!
Five months travel through Central and South America from nov2017-apr2018 was a lot to see and experience in a short time but I ve seen so beautiful nature and met crazy amazing people, did a lot of couchsurfing and lived for oneandahalf months in a community 3km away from the equatorial line 3000m in the mountains and worked as a permaculture volunteer.
Actually, there are plenty of nice things I´ve experienced for my tender age, I am prepared to have a long talk:)
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn how to play the guitar. Since years. I got one at home. It sucks trying to learn an instrument as an adult...
I can share my knowledge about people I ve met and topics I am really into.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking together is a nice opportiunity to get to know the other person even better and learn other tastes!
I can teach you to cook delicious vegan food!
