Cage my mind, it won't stop tripping in."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I consider this community an amazing way to discover and experience the world. As much as I love to show the unknown parts of Barcelona (in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful citys in the world), I very much appreciate when a local takes time to unveil me the best parts of a city that I'm visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many bands, movies and books to summarize here, but I'll try to make a best of:
- Music: Very difficult to make a list, cause I consider myself a melomaniac. But if I have to choose one, I would say my all time favorite genre is punk rock, I very much share the thought that, as Kurt Cobain said, "Punk is musical freedom. It's saying, doing and playing what you want. In Webster's terms, 'nirvana' means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world, and that's pretty close to my definition of Punk Rock." And beside punk, I listen to metal, progressive rock, country, bluegrass...
Nirvana is one of my favorite bands, and to mention a few more: Berri Txarrak, Rise Against, Descendents, Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Pennywise, Hot Water Music, Adolescents, Adrenalized, Gojira... etc
- Movies: Tarantino and Nolan are two of my favorite directors (Memento and pulp fiction will be in my top 5). Alfonso cuarón and Tim Burton (the old Tim Burton) will always be in my favorites as well. I love animation movies, considering Miyazaki a true genius. The last movie that really blewed my mind was Arrival.
- Books: As an aspiring writer, I have many books that really influenced me to become the person that I am today, but I will try to create a top 5: my favorite book is without any doubt 1984 by George Orwell, the impact of the last sentence still resonates in my mind. The method by Juli Zeh is a book that deserves to be compared with the best dystopian novels, amazing. Windhaven by Lisa Tuttle and George R. R. Martin (yes, before he wrote Game of thrones) is a delicious book, no spoilers, but if you really wanna experience how it feels to fly, give this book a try. Anima by Wajdi Mouawad is a must read, not famous at all, but I'm sure it's one of the most important books of the 21st century. And last but not least, The road by Cormac Mcarthy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel alone for 5 days to a punk rock music festival in Slovenia
Teach, Learn, Share
"It's my firm conclusion that human meaning comes from humans, not from a supernatural source. After we die, our hopes for an afterlife reside in the social networks that we influenced while we were alive. If we influence people in a positive way -- even if our social web is only as big as our nuclear family -- others will want to emulate us and pass on our ideas, manners, and lifestyle to future generations. This is more than enough motivation for me to do good things in my life and teach my children to do the same."
