About Me
Heeey!
I'm Blažka, I live (autocorrect from love, but that will work too) to travel.
I just returned home to Slovenia after spending 2 years in New Zealand. Current plan is to see as much Europe as possible before heading back to the Upside down. I haven't done couchsurfing in a few years now, but I feel like getting on that backpacker buzz again! Ready to explore, meet new people, share good times and stories and laughs! This time traveling with my dear kiwi partner Marty as well, who is also a big traveler and a big person (doesn't have profile but I got couple pictures on mine).
I'd say I'm quite spontaneous, honest and I prefer puppies over babies.
⚠ I can't accept guests at the moment, but feel free to message me if you wanna meet up for drink or if you have any questions about the area.
I don't live in Ljubljana! I live 40min drive with bus from our lovely capital, just outside beautiful old medieval town Skofja Loka, so you might reconsider this before sending a request.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that one of the most valuable things while traveling is meeting local people and this is a perfect place for that. I met so many wonderful people over Couchsurfing!
Interests
I like being outside. Walking my dog, going for a hike, working on a farm, barbecue, camping or just laying on the grass and listening to the sounds of nature. I enjoy peaceful evenings at home as much as I enjoy partying hard the whole night.
Lately I got into cooking, especially Slovenian dishes and I love it!! I love food!
Always looking for new adventures, I enjoy hitchhiking, good conversations and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly I listen to oldies goldies, rock, psychedelic rock, funk, edm, psytrance, but I can cope with anything really. Expanding my playlist is always an option.
Pulp Fiction is all time favourite.
I enjoy reading, but didn't have much time for it lately - I'd really appreciate some good book recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided to go to USA to work there on a summer camp when I was 20 years old. My English was very bad at that time, it was my first time traveling alone and first time flying. Looking back, this was the bravest and most important decision in my life, as it got me on the right path and turned me into a completely new, more independent and confident person.
