Hey there!

My name is Stefanie, I'm 22 years old and even though my profile doesn't show it, I have done couchsurfing before with friends who already had an account and I loved it:)

I study medicine in Kiel and live in a flat with three other students and am more than happy to invite you over after my stay at yours!
In my free time I love to hang out with my friends, in the summer mostly at the beach of Kiel. I used to be an Au Pair in the US where I met lots of cool people from all different countries who I like to meet up with during lecture free time. I also love to read, obsess with tv series (GOT, anyone/everyone??) and cook with my flat mates.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel lots of places and meet new people who might be interested in showing off their home town or just like to have new folks around them! Saving a few extra pennies also comes in handy when travelling, which is why I really appreciate every host having me around.

Interests

I'm really into books, all kinds of music, so whatever type of band, if a song kicks in I have to listen to it a dozen times. I'm really interested in history so I like old cities with historical buildings. Sadly Kiel doesn't have much of that so I have to look for that stuff elsewhere;)

I enjoy cooking and also eating whatever I fabricated and might be feeding it to you (as far as access to kitchen is verified), when I'm not hunting down the weirdest specialty of your hometown. (Last novelty: Fried pumpkinblossoms filled with fish in Rome, worth trying!)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite kind of music is either a songs I can sing along to and have great rhythm like Muse, Meiko etc. or really good goosebumb music like epic film tracks. My favorite kind of movies are horror movies if they're not too really really kind of freaky and funny movies like 21 Jump Street.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went Sky Diving. It was crazy and I strongly recommend jumping as someone's backpack out of a plane.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook a great omelette (enjoyed best hungover) and CPR.

I'd like to learn how you live in your country or town! There are basic language skills I wish I had in every language in the world, maybe I get closer with a stay at your place:)
