My dream: Travel around the world teaching portuguese and saving animals! :D

My name is Nicole and I'm portuguese. I was born in the South (the famous Algarve) but I was brought up in Lisbon. I now live in Madrid, Spain, since I was 15 years old, but I study in Cáceres, a student city in Spain. So I kinda live in both places xD. I'm a vet student and I work as a portuguese teacher too. :-)

I love travelling and meeting new people, explore and learn more about new cultures all over the world, their language, their food, their lifestyle.
Learning new languages is really important for me. Whenever I go to a different country, I like taking a book with me with every basic statements that could help me on my trip (in case if I get lost for example). Because of that, I can speak a little bit of hungarian, croatian, slovenian, czech, deutsch, dutch, italian and slovak! (ps: slovak is a BEAUTIFUL language, ma l'italiano è la lingua più bella del mondo!!)

Music: I like all kinds of music, from Queen, The Cure, Guns'N'Roses till Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, Odesza...
Movies: Terror, Action and Romantic Comedies (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Nicholas Sparks movies, Insidious, Sinister, The Conjuring...)
Books: Mostly books that have to do with veterinary medicine, animals in general, but not just that. The diary of Anne Frank is also one of my favourite books.
Also I like to read books in other languages to practice. English and french books are my favourites, in addition to spanish and portuguese ones.

I've performed in charity concerts (I sing), and it's great to do something you love knowing that you are helping others.

Swimming with dolphins in Algarve, Portugal. Just one word: AMAZING!

Acuatic Ski ( I fell loads of times, but its still fun)

Sabatic Year: Spending 8 months travelling around Europe.

Volunteering in an Alpaca farm in the swedish countryside with WorkAway.

Interrail in Switzerland.
