About Me

Unfortunately I live now in a dorm and I am not able to host other people but I will meet up with huge pleasure!:)

At the beggining I just want to say thank You if You read my whole profile - I know it's not so short, sorry, I really respect Your time, but also want You to get to know me just a little and that's my only chance to do that.

I really don't like when somebody use intellectual-sounding quotes (or rather pseudointellectual bullshit - sorry for that word), but long time ago I found a really smart one: "Don't talk about yourself; it will be done when you leave". Isn't that true? BUT... Well, we are here to get known each other and it will be hard without that basic knowledge, won't it? I know that's even the best description won't replace the real meeting (I just don't know if it's good or bad for my "conversator":) but I will try. Soo... I'm a student, in Wrocław, Poland and I study soo much interesting field of study - Finance & Accounting (hell, it's so hard to use written sarcasm You know?). I suppose I am nice and easy-going and I'm definitely so talkative! But I also like listening and getting to know other people - extraordinary people, so all people in the world (without any exceptions!). I've got lots of interests, but I will talk about them later. I guess I am a kind of positive realist, I just hate boredom and I just love laughing & smiling :D I'm quite cheerful I guess and always laugh because of myself, there's no place for being sad!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know it's not an extraordinary answer but - to meet new people! I just want to meet them as much as it's possible, meet various cultures, traditions, passions... And of course see some place from not-ordinary side and show my country from my point of view!

Interests

I love travelling, reading (I just cannot go asleep without reading even a few pages), laughing of course, watching movies, painting, listening to my favourite music and meeting & talking with other people. I used to do lots of things, eg training karate, judo, horse riding (my one-way love), but now... I spend time less actively. I also like embroiding and making jewellery, it's more time-consuming but so absorbing. And, maybe it's not so famous, but I really like to work, some time ago I was in an organisation which is connected with international interships, volunteering and spreading tolerance among even the youngest people and I loved that - it was really hard work, but when I see that the aim of what I am doing is worth the effort, I can sleep even less than an hour per day (and I did, more than few times:P).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music & books are just everything for me, without any doubts. I love that they're creating new lands, realms and I just cannot confine to chosing only one book, one band or even one genre.

Books:
Jane Austen (almost everything, maybe just without Mansfield Park, Fanny is too annoying for me), Joe Alex, Frances Hodgson Burnett (The Little Princess just made my childhood), Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, Fiodor Dostojewski, George Martin, J.K. Rowling, Stieg Larsson, Lew Tołstoj, Erica Spindler, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Małgorzata Musierowicz, Graham Masterton, Jodi Picoult (My Sister's Keeper - every time I read that book I cannot stop my heart louder pounding), Edgar Allan Poe, Andrzej Sapkowski, Michael Scott (a perfect mythology-like world), William Shakespeare (my deepest love, You don't have to ask why I want to go to Stratford-upon-Avon!), Stephen King (don't have to introduce - Under The Dome, I'm frightened when I even think about that book), J.R.R Tolkien, Lee Harper (To kill a Mockingbird), Michaił Bułchakov and... lots of more.

Music:
It's really hard to define, because it depends on my mood, my music taste is really eclectic, it could be jazz, blues or indie rock or music from musicals or balladry. I know that when somebody say that he likes different types of music it could mean that he doesn't know the ropes, I hope it's not such situation. I think that there's lots of music from Disney cartoons which are beautiful, but I'm also crazy about the Phantom of The Opera, Dżem, Ella Fitzgerald, Everlast, Renata Przemyk, Adele, Hozier, Imagine Dragons, music from good movies and... lots of more!

Movies:
Pride & Prejudice (one thing - that movie I can watch all the time, all day long, I just love it! of course the old BBC version from 1995 with fantastic mr Darcy, not the new one!), animated movies like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frozen or The Little Mermaid (I know, I know, huge shame of me:), Django, Intouchables, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Help, The Hunger Games, La Piel que habito, The Boy in the Stripes Pyjamas, Changeling, Coraline, ALL Tim Burton's movies (that climate of Corpse Bride... unforgettable), Les choristes, Bridget Jones (every movie with Colin Firth is brilliant, don't You think? even the non-ambitious one like comedy:), Dogville, The Pianist, A Beautiful Mind, Moulin Rouge (songs!), Monty Python movies, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, 10 Things I Hate About You (Heath Ledger of course), Meet Joe Black, What we do in the shadows, Whiplash, The Dressmaker, The Book Thief, Belle, Medicus, Maleficent and... yep, lots of more:)
