Hi, I'm Alex

Grew up in the capital city of Australia, canberra! Really chilled out town in the country. so after finishing high school (2014) decided to save and venture to his neck of the woods!! Worked numerous jobs, little bit of everything! Have always been interested in traveling, and the idea of backpacking around Europe and meeting cool people on the way.

Enjoy all the typical Australian activities! Surfing, snowboarding, camping and swimming away from sharks!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New to couch surfing! and was drawn to it by all of the great stories I've heard from friends who have couch surfed whilst also backpacking around europe. Always talked highly of the hospitality and friendliness of everyone they meet on there adventures!!

So that's what enticed me really, the idea of meeting people and sharing in the experience of travel and the enjoyment of making new friends along the way! Just as much as the cities are worth seeing the people seem worth meeting

Interests

Have always loved the outdoors so naturally I enjoy a lot of outdoor sports! Surfing, snowboarding and mountain bikeing in particular!!

Outside of that I spend most of my time relaxing, playing guitar and reading! Mostly philosophy and history!

Above all of that I enjoy spending time with good people, drinking a few beers and enjoying the moment

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music includes dire straits, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Vedder, Creedence Clearwater and the stones! but enjoy several other artists and genres! Especially hip hop from the west and east coast of America during he 90s

Movie wise Big fan of all the classics. Apocalypse now, pulp fiction, Shawshank redemption, deer hunter and anything else with Robert de Niro in really!

Enjoy reading a bit of Tolstoy, tennese Williams and cormack McCarthy
