My name is April and my partner is James, I am an Australian & he’s an Irish man. We are currently living in Canada, and exploring the world together!

My profile is aimed at my interest and hobbies as I spent a lot of time couch-surfing a few years ago.

James and myself are two easy going travellers.
He’s never experienced couch-surfing before and I would love for him to be introduced to this beautiful community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to explore the wonders of the world, to meet different interesting individuals, and to be open to whatever my travels might have in store for me.
Couchsurfing has been an amazing way to meet locals and connect to people from all over the world. I love that we are all strangers yet there's a huge sense of community.
I've found the people I've met through couchsurfing provide so much knowledge and guidance with their own unique story and each person I've encountered along the way have enriched my travels that little bit more.
I honestly think it's just a wonderful addition to your travel.

Interests

Food- I try not to be a fussy eater, I'll try everything once, or if I like it multiple times.
Food brings so much joy to my life. One of my favourite things to do back home is to crank some of my favourite tunes, crack open a bottle of wine and spend hours cooking.

Walking- I enjoy bush walks, mountain hiking, venturing into forests. I can spend hours wandering by myself or with the company of others.

The stars- Trying to see the night sky everywhere I travel. Nothing makes me feel more emotion than to look up at the night sky pondering life and our existence or simply to enjoy the different constellations that you can only see over that part of the world.
My favourite night sky is still the one that shines above my little home town back in Australia where I've spent many summer nights sleeping in a swag watching The Milky Way pass by.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't really define my taste in music as it varies over many genres. I love individual songs from an array of different and opposite musicians/artists...also a huge influence on my taste of music stems from where, what, how. If I am driving hours on the road nothing makes me more happy than a little Norah Jones or Momford and sons, if I'm emotional country or some old classics doesn't go astray, or if I'm simply out on the town any live music and a dance floor are the perfect addition.
