Hi! I'm Susi, from Barcelona. I'm social worker from since years ago. I try to appreciate the small and big things in my life!! Always we can find interesting thing everywhere, the important thing it's not where we are or what we're living, the important thing is how we see it. Actually, I'm in this moment of my life I want to start a long trip, the journey I've always wanted to do but I was afraid to do it alone. I thing is the moment to do it and be brave. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I listen from some few friends that it's a really good idea to live with local people when we're travelling. I'm on couchssurfing because I thing the best way to know a culture is living with local people. I don't want just see turistics places, I want stay and know people from the places I will visit. And also I thing is interesting for local people to spend a few days with foreigners. Everybody is growing up, enriching each other.

Also I've to say that for me is difficult to decide to stay in a house of people that I don't know, far away of my country. My fears appears, and I was thinking if I made me a profile or not... And finally I decide live is share, and couchsurfing is a really beautiful way of share and I try to keep my fears far away from my mind.

Interests

I love travel and meet new people! I love animals, the nature, but also I love big cities! I like read, go to the cinema, to walk around, I love walk and walk!! I love spend time with my friends and family!! Also I love work, I work as a social worker and I really enjoy my job! I'm very pacient woman and I'm opened minded. To eat food is my passion... I like try new things from another countries!! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening a lot of different kind of music... I can listen Adele, and also Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Guns'n'Roses, some comercial music like Bruno Mars... I like dance and be fun, and I can find this things in a lot of music styles.

About movies... My favorite movies are movies if social issues. But also I like thrillers. I'm a fan of television series, Grey's Anatomy, Friends, Game of Throne, House of Cards, Orange is the new Black, Breaking Bad, The mentalist... and many more!!! Actually, I see few films because I've many televisions series I want to see them!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmm... For me, one of the amazing thing I've done was when I decide to quit my job, my study and my flat and go to live in Ireland with 22 years, it was so difficult for me because nobody in my house support my decition, and it was a really difficult to jump over my fears alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't understand this section. I thing live consists in learn and teach, and all this two thing together is share! Actually, we buy a lot of things that people have them and they throw them to the trash. We pay a lot of money to learn languagues when we've can share and make interchanges... Those things are just two examples... of how is going the life... We've to start to share more and more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my cooking skills, I make an amazing spanish omelette!!! I can teach my spanish, if you want. I like talk and hace fun... then, for sure, we'll spend great time togethers.
