About Me

I definitely want to meet you if:
- you are a positive person
- you love travelling for meeting new people and knowing new places and cultures through the eyes of local people
- you love dancing
- you are simply interested in languages
- you have a passion that you want to share with people
- you love wine or beer ;)

My philosophy:

---> IF YOU CAN DREAM IT YOU CAN DO IT!
---> "EVERYONE YOU WILL EVER MEET KNOWS SOMETHING YOU DON'T !" Bill Nye

I study the tranlation and interpreting of German and Italian language at Comenius University in Bratislava.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of Couchsurfing but I have not discovered the world of Couchsurfing yet. Now I want to change it. Because I believe in the CS motto: I have friends all over the world. I just haven't met them yet. So where are you, my friends? :)

Interests

I am interested in travelling, reading books, dancing...

But my biggest passion is learning languages and searching new effective methods to learn foreign languages. At university, I study the translation and interpretation of German and Italian language. At primary and secondary school I learned also English but I didn’t like the scholastic system of learning languages at all but now I have new knowledge about it. The learning has to be FUN! One day I want to by a polyglot and speak so many languages as I can learn.

I love learning languages abroad. In summer 2015 I attended the university in Passau, Germany where I studied German with people from all the world. I like to know new people, their culture, their language, their history, their food…. Everything! I look forward to seeing new country and new places.
Now I learn Esperanto (and Italian, German, English) because I think it is something special. I am just on begin and I’ll like to speak with someone about the experiences with this beautiful language and about the methods how to learn any language.

Expect the languages I love dancing. I danced ten years at school of art and also in a group. We danced a little bit latino, scenic dance, show dance etc. Unfortunately I can’t do it now because of time.

Music, Movies, and Books

The year 2016 is for me the year of books. Every month I read one book. This challenge should do everyone. I learn so much. Maybe I am the future translator and reading books is the best practice for me. I like the romans and the inspiring books about the intelligent people.

My favorite books:
Antoine Bello: The Falsifiers; The Pathfinders
Paolo Giordano: The Solitude of Prime Numbers
J. D. Salinger: The Catcher in the Rye
Timothy Ferriss: The 4-Hour Workweek

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped from the bridge!! With the rope of course :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am curious person and I would like to learn something about your culture, how to cook your tradition food or how to dance your national dance :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you and practice with you the languages that I speak with. I can also cook something for you. Maybe something national Slovak. Because I am an excellent cook ;) I'm also a nifty person and I can teach you how to do some little cute paper things :)
