Hi there guys! Uhm, to be honest, I kinda always feel lost when it comes to "about me" sections, cause I just never know what to write first. So, the most important things you need to know are:

☻I´m from Slovakia and I´m also currently living here
☻I´m a Master' s student of Biotechnology and as you can guess I love science!
☻I just love travelling, thanks to my parents I´ve travelled ever since I was a little baby and I could never stay in one place for my whole life, I need to see the world!
☻I´m a very outgoing person who hates drama and fights

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I guess I sum it up in the previous paragraph. As I said, I love exploring the world and seeing new places and especially getting to know new cultures. I hate "national stereotypes" and I just want to know what people are like around the globe. So that´s why I think CS is a great way to experience all of that.

Interests

I´ve always loved books - I am a huge bookworm, I´m even working as a book seller for my part time job. So if you ever feel like chatting about books or need some recommendation, here I come!

The next thing that´s always been very important in my life is music - my dad is a professional musician, so I´ve been around musicians and music itself ever since I was born (unfortunately I didn´t get my dad´s talent but I can play some easy tunes on guitar! ;) ).

My biggest "dirty pleasure" is probably video games - I might be a girl, but I just love video games (I hate stereotypes, remember?). Some of my most fave ones are Deus Ex, Masss Effect, Bioshock, Dragon Age.

And last but not least, my interest is also what I´m studying - science. Especially biology, but also astronomy and everything connected to space!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly indie and alternative, but I don´t rly judge people based on their music taste. I like Muse, The Killers, Alt- J, The Smiths, Placebo, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and The Machine, Marina and The Diamonds, Halsey, Kodaline, Hurts, and many, many more.

Movies: I could spent here all day writing the list of my fave movies, so I´ll just say I love movies by Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton (the old ones especially), Christopher Nolan. Most fave movie of all time: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain.

Books: Oh, you already know I´m a bookworm, so... the list would be even longer than the movie list. Will just mention my all-time favourite authors: Oscar Wilde, E.A. Poe, Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman. I enjoy classics as well as scifi (I love Ender´s Game and Metro trilogy) and I will always be one of the biggest Harry Potter fans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don´t think I´ve done "the amazing thing" yet, it´s still somewhere in there waiting for me. But I just really loved attending Sziget festival last year, seven days full of fun and music.
