About Me
🌋✈️🧳🌍🎶🎬📚❤️✨🏛️🏖️📸🏙️🗺️🏔️🚶♂️📝🔍
Hi! I’m Andrés, from Colombia 🇨🇴
I’m a psychiatrist passionate about mental health, culture, and research. I really enjoy learning about how people live, think, and connect, so meeting travelers is something that feels fascinating to me.
I love cinema, music from all over the world, and good books. Recently, I had an unforgettable adventure climbing Volcán Fuego in Guatemala, where I got to see lava up close (about 300 meters away!), and I also attended the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony—one of those surreal life moments.
Beyond travel, I enjoy deep conversations, discovering new perspectives, and sharing cultural experiences. I can also offer mental health advice if that’s something meaningful for someone.
I’m on Couchsurfing to meet interesting people, exchange ideas, share food, stories, and experiences—and to give visitors a welcoming space to get to know Colombia in an authentic way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I've used Couchsurfing in Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, and New York, where I've met fantastic people. Now, I want to offer a space for visitors to experience the best of Colombia. I also want to continue meeting people on my travels, as I believe the best way to get to know a place is through its locals.
