We are Andrés and Jaime, a couple from Colombia passionate about travel and cultural exchange.

Andrés: I am a psychiatry resident and doctor, passionate about mental health and research. I love learning about different cultures and sharing experiences, and I can provide mental health advice.

Jaime: I am a lawyer specializing in law, government, and justice management. I enjoy reading, history, and engaging in meaningful conversations about social and cultural topics.

We both have a deep love for cinema, enjoy discovering and sharing music from around the world, and appreciate good books. Recently, we had an incredible adventure climbing the Volcán del Fuego in Guatemala and saw lava just 300 meters away.

I am on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I've used Couchsurfing in Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, and New York, where I've met fantastic people. Now, I want to offer a space for visitors to experience the best of Colombia. I also want to continue meeting people on my travels, as I believe the best way to get to know a place is through its locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing we've done recently was our incredible adventure climbing the Volcán del Fuego in Guatemala. We had the thrilling experience of seeing lava just 300 meters away from us. It was an unforgettable and awe-inspiring moment that we love to share with others.

Nature and Adventure: Colombia is a country with incredible natural diversity. We can recommend nearby places like Chingaza National Natural Park, the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, or the hills of Bogotá. We can also suggest outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.

Languages: If you are interested in learning or practicing Spanish, we would be happy to help. We would also like to learn about your languages and cultures.
